Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Injury attorney to join our Chicago Asbestos Litigation team. The ideal candidate will specialize in personal injury cases related to asbestos exposure, advocating for individuals affected by toxic substances. This role involves legal research, client consultation, and representation in court to secure the best outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct legal research on asbestos-related laws and regulations
Evaluate and prepare legal cases for clients affected by asbestos exposure
Represent clients in court and during negotiations
Prepare legal documents, including briefs and motions
Consult with clients to understand their cases and provide legal advice
Collaborate with expert witnesses and other professionals in toxic tort litigation
Stay updated on developments in asbestos law and related personal injury litigation

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in Illinois
2+ years plaintiff personal injury law, asbestos or toxic torts is a plus
Strong analytical and research skills
Trial experience is a plus
Excellent oral and written communication abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a legal team
Demonstrated commitment to client advocacy and ethical practice
