Job Title: Assistant Manager Production
Location: Marion, TX (On-site)
Salary: $69,000 - $83,000/ year, depending on experience
Position Overview: The Assistant Manager Production will be responsible for assisting the Manager in overseeing the production operations of the company. This includes managing and coordinating production activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and overseeing the production team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Manager in planning and organizing production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize productivity.
- Supervise and coordinate production team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of production tasks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce production costs.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a production management role, preferably in the manufacturing or automotive industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
- Knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Experience with Japanese production methods, such as Kaizen and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of cost control and budget management.
- Familiarity with automation, robotics, and machining processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering or business administration, is preferred.
