Job Title: Forensic Accounting Manager
All-in Compensation: $130K - $200K
Location: Newport Beach, CA (Hybrid schedule, 2x weekly in-office)
Reports To: Forensics Accounting Partner
Job Summary: Join our prestigious CPA firm as a Forensic Accounting Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in leading forensic accounting investigations and litigation support services. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee forensic accounting investigations to detect and prevent fraud, financial discrepancies, and other irregularities.
Provide expert litigation support, including preparing detailed reports, assisting with depositions, and offering testimony in court.
Collaborate with the Forensics Accounting Partner to develop and execute strategies for forensic engagements.
Manage and mentor a team of forensic accountants, ensuring high standards of work and timely delivery of projects.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, audit reports, and other relevant documentation for forensic cases.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in forensic accounting and litigation support.
Uphold the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive financial information.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in forensic accounting and litigation support.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and financial regulations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
