Criminal Defense Attorney

Position Overview
The Criminal Defense Attorney will represent clients in criminal cases, providing legal support and guidance throughout the legal process. The primary objective is to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients while ensuring their rights are protected.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in criminal cases
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents
  • Develop defense strategies and negotiate plea deals
  • Attend court hearings and trial proceedings
  • Interview witnesses and gather evidence
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and expert witnesses
  • Stay updated on changes in criminal law and legal precedents
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
  • Experience in criminal defense law
  • Strong understanding of legal principles and procedures
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a caseload
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
