Field Engineer
Position Overview
The Field Engineer will be responsible for overseeing construction projects on-site, ensuring that all work is completed to specifications, within budget, and on schedule. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and project managers to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to develop project plans and schedules using Primavera Project Planner.
- Utilize Procore for project management documentation and communication.
- Create reports and correspondence about submittals, RFIs, change orders, etc. for Project Manager's review
- Monitor project progress and performance, reporting any issues or delays to management.
- Assist in the preparation of project reports and the project schedule.
- Ensure adherence to commercial and municipal regulations in all construction activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field OR 2+ years of experience as a Foreman or Lead
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and methodologies.
- Experience with Primavera Project Planner or equivalent scheduling software and Procore software is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of commercial, light industrial, and municipal construction projects is a plus.
