The General Ledger Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Responsibilities
Ensure accuracy and completeness by maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts.
Create financial statements on a weekly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Help with the year-end and month-end closing procedures.
Balance accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank statements.
Create journal entries and keep track of the supporting paperwork
Examine financial information and help with variance analysis.
Support audits by supplying the required records and justifications.
Assist with forecasting and budgeting.
To guarantee accurate financial reporting, collaborate closely with other departments.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
Experience in general ledger accounting or related role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, NetSuite).
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
