Group Manager - Natural Resources

Position Overview
The Group Manager - Natural Resources will lead a team of professionals in managing and executing projects related to natural resource management. The position involves overseeing compliance with environmental regulations, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and ensuring strategic planning aligns with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of specialists in the natural resources sector.
  • Ensure compliance with CEQA and NEPA regulations in all projects.
  • Conduct and oversee biological assessments and environmental impact evaluations.
  • Engage with stakeholders to promote transparent communication and collaboration.
  • Develop strategic plans that align with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful execution of initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Natural Resource Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in natural resource management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of CEQA and NEPA processes and regulations.
  • Experience in conducting biological assessments and environmental impact assessments.
  • Proven skills in project management and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in team management.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans effectively.
