Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled IT Helpdesk Engineer to provide exceptional technical support and troubleshooting for our users. The ideal candidate will be responsible for resolving IT issues, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

$65,000-$80,000/year

Key Responsibilities

Provide first-line support for technical issues related to hardware, software, and networking.
Diagnose and troubleshoot desktop and laptop issues, including Windows and MacOS environments.
Assist users with the installation and configuration of software and hardware.
Manage and resolve support tickets using ticketing systems and ensure timely follow-up.
Provide remote support to users when necessary, utilizing remote desktop tools.
Maintain documentation of issues and solutions for future reference.
Collaborate with IT team members to improve support processes and user experience.
Ensure that antivirus and security software is properly installed and updated on all devices.
Assist users with VPN connectivity and other network-related issues.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an IT Helpdesk Engineer or similar role in IT support.
Strong knowledge of IT helpdesk principles and practices.
Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
Proficiency in Windows and MacOS operating systems.
Experience with hardware and software installation and troubleshooting.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on user satisfaction.
Basic understanding of networking concepts.
Familiarity with Active Directory and user account management.
