Litigation Associate (Product Liability)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Litigation Associate with a focus on Product Liability to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and litigating complex product liability cases, providing comprehensive legal support and advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in all phases of litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial activities
  • Draft and file legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and discovery requests
  • Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries to support litigation strategies
  • Participate in depositions and witness interviews, providing necessary support to lead attorneys
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather evidence and information pertinent to cases
  • Manage discovery processes, including document review and production
  • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting product liability cases
  • Represent clients in court and at hearings as needed

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Barred in NC
  • 2+ years of litigation experience, with a focus on product liability preferred
  • Strong understanding of litigation processes and civil procedure
  • Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
  • Proficient in drafting legal documents and preparing for trials
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
