Litigation Associate (Product Liability)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Litigation Associate with a focus on Product Liability to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and litigating complex product liability cases, providing comprehensive legal support and advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in all phases of litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial activities
Draft and file legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and discovery requests
Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries to support litigation strategies
Participate in depositions and witness interviews, providing necessary support to lead attorneys
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather evidence and information pertinent to cases
Manage discovery processes, including document review and production
Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting product liability cases
Represent clients in court and at hearings as needed

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Barred in NC
2+ years of litigation experience, with a focus on product liability preferred
Strong understanding of litigation processes and civil procedure
Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Proficient in drafting legal documents and preparing for trials
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
