Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Litigation Defense Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation and will be responsible for representing clients in various legal proceedings. This role requires excellent research, writing, and case management skills, as well as the ability to develop and implement effective legal strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Represent clients in civil litigation matters including hearings, depositions, and trials.
Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents such as motions and briefs.
Manage all aspects of case files and documentation efficiently.
Engage in discovery processes and manage discovery management tasks.
Prepare for and attend arbitrations and trials, advocating for clients' best interests.
Mentor junior attorneys and support staff in legal procedures and strategies.
Collaborate with a teamwork-oriented legal team to develop case strategies and actions.

Qualifications

Jurisdictional law degree (J.D.) and active state bar membership.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in civil litigation.
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
Proven experience in motion practice and discovery processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
