Title: Manufacturing Engineer - Automation
Location: Wilson, NC
Salary: $90,000 - $100,000
We provide a subscription service that automatically delivers filters for your air and fridge filters.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to assist in the development and realization of the plants continuous improvement initiative, with an emphasis on the successful implementation of plant automation projects.
- Develop, test, and implement control configurations in automation systems
- Performs automation system management including control software documentation, development of SOPs, operator training, and system backups
- Develop programs to control PLCs, HMIs, actuators, servos, motion controllers, and vision systems
- Specify and order electrical components needed to support the operation of equipment
- Debug, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and machinery
- Document operating manuals for equipment and machines
- Supports manufacturing by troubleshooting existing automation equipment
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field, and/or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of professional experience in manufacturing
