What You Will Be Doing
- Attending pre-job meetings with Field Supervision and support team at headquarters
- Providing daily project updates to internal staff and upper management
- Managing timeline/budget on assigned projects
- Supervising large/small commercial concrete jobs (flatwork)
- Collaborating with and supporting other team members
- Scheduling, monitoring, and inspecting all work
- Troubleshooting potential issues
- Traveling to job sites throughout the US
- Negotiating contracts w/vendors and subcontractors
- Securing building permits and licenses
- Ensuring compliance with all building and safety codes
- Managing multiple project deadlines and adhering to the established timeline
- Prioritizing urgent matters and addressing issues proactively
- Reviewing and interpreting complex construction drawings
- Identifying risks and developing plans to minimize risks onsite
- Reviews, evaluates and may develop schedules, logistics plans
What You Need for this Position
3+ years of Construction industry experience (industrial/commercial construction) and:
- Experience with on-site coordination and supervision of team members, and all parties
- Effective Communication with field team members, clients, internal staff, upper management, etc.
- Knowledgeable of Construction Project Management timelines
- Experience and ability to process change orders
- Review and Revise Submittals
- Read complex construction drawings
- On-site traveling to meet with team and ensure construction timelines are being met
- On- site travel to the HQ in Fort Worth, TX for critical meetings/training
