QC Manager--OCONUS

Position Overview
The QC Manager will oversee operations OCONUS and ensure compliance with federal regulations at a project site in Australia for the full project duration of 3 years. This position will be representing a US based Prime Contractor with ongoing US and overseas projects. Ability and willingness to travel internationally is required. NOTE: Prior experience working on USACE and/or NAVFAC projects and active CQM certification is required for serious consideration. Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures for construction projects including civil and vertical scope.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Lead and manage the quality control team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective quality assurance activities.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including reports, records, and compliance certifications.
Train and mentor team members and other staff on quality control practices and procedures.
Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to quality management in construction.

Qualifications

10+ years of relevant civil and vertical construction experience (3+ years of QC management)
Prior experience on overseas federal construction projects
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
Active CQM cert
Successful track record of completion on DOD construction
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to obtain a base clearance
Prior experience with hangar construction is a PLUS
