As a trusted partner for hospitals, health systems, and physician groups all over the U.S., our comprehensive solutions cover outsourced radiology and oncology services offering both fixed-site outpatient diagnostic imaging services through a network of imaging locations, as well as outpatient radiology and oncology services to about 1,000 hospitals and health systems across 48 states.

We are seeking a Clinical Systems Administrator with experience in the radiology/imaging space supporting clinical applications, specifically eRAD RIS. This person should have knowledge of clinical workflow and best practices in radiology and digital imaging including familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT field.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Serve as field based technical services subject matter expert in supporting clinical systems and support personnel of fixed site locations
  • Receive product training and transfer knowledge, workflow, and best practices relating to clinical applications and take a proactive role in the ongoing technical development of fixed site personnel
  • Actively participate in the escalation process. Fully document in AHCS ticketing system and aggressively pursue solutions to critical site issues in concert with software vendors
  • Develop and design site diagrams, procedures, test plans, and other required project or service related documents for both local and regional use as best practice
  • Collaborates with other members of IT department and coordination of installation of computing and network hardware
  • Design and implement workflow strategies, operation standards, policies, and procedures for technologist, radiologists, and front desk clerks of existing and transitioning AHCS joint ventures
  • Build and deploy solutions within the clinical software applications for the strategies and practices formed
  • Perform end-to-end system testing, resolution, optimization, and lead communication issues to manager of IT services

What You Need for this Position

  • 3+ years of experience working with clinical applications including eRAD RIS systems
  • Knowledge of clinical workflow and best practices in radiology and digital imaging
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT field

Preferred Experience 

  • SQL databases 
  • Konica Minoltas EXA, AbbaDox, Mach7, or Fujis Synapse
  • Nuance PowerScribe
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Internetworking (LAN)
