Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled REMOTE Ruby on Rails Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our backend systems, ensuring robust performance and scalability while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-quality Ruby on Rails applications
Design and implement RESTful APIs and GraphQL services
Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements
Participate in technical decision-making and contribute to architectural discussions
Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas and queries
Implement CI/CD processes and manage deployment on AWS infrastructure

Qualifications

Proven experience in software engineering with a strong focus on Ruby on Rails
Strong understanding of SQL and PostgreSQL
Experience with REST and APIs
Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
Experience in server-side web frameworks and backend system design
Strong problem-solving skills and design skills
Proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal
Experience working in small team environments
Familiarity with automated integration and CI/CD processes
Experience with AWS infrastructure and container orchestration technologies
Knowledge of REACT and TypeScript is a plus
Demonstrated ability in technical leadership and product ownership
Experience in business intelligence or cloud data engineering is a plus
A commitment to working in mission-driven organizations
