Position Overview
The Safety Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state safety regulations. This role aims to minimize workplace hazards, promote a culture of safety, and protect the health and well-being of all employees.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in alignment with OSHA regulations.
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Provide training and guidance to employees regarding safety protocols and standards.
Interpret safety standards and regulations to ensure compliance in all facility operations.
Conduct root cause analysis for safety incidents and develop corrective action plans.
Collaborate with other departments to enhance workplace safety initiatives.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of safety programs and initiatives.
Assist in the development of safety training materials and programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in a safety engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
Experience with industrial hygiene practices and principles.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and safety management software.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially related to root cause analysis.
