We are a 40 year old, small but mighty Structural Engineering firm based out of Minneapolis, MN! We pride ourselves in having a small, tight-knit team that doesn't work more than a 40-hour work week AND enjoys a hybrid schedule (1 or 2 days weekly in the office). Our projects have included historic renovations, churches, retail, dental clinics, educational facilities, multifamily apartments (up to 10 stories) & single family homes.
We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team! Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter (we don't micromanage), able to wear multiple hats and they must be personable/fun!

What you'll be doing:
- Create detailed drawings & specs for projects
- Perform structural analysis & calculations to design safe & efficient structures
- Review & approve construction materials & methods to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Collaborate with architects & engineers to ensure compatibility with design plans
- Conduct site visits & inspections to monitor construction progress & identify any potential issues
- Provide technical guidance & support to junior engineers/other team members
What you need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred)
- PE License required
- 5+ years Structural Engineering experience
- Experience with single family and/or multifamily required
- Experience with Wood Design preferred
- Experience with existing buildings preferred
- Experience in construction/trades preferred
- Proficiency with Revit & RISA 2D/3D
- Ability to effectively communicate with contractors, architects & coworkers
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
