Superintendent
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have experience in various sectors including senior living, multi-family, healthcare, and commercial construction. This role is crucial for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and building codes.
- Coordinate and supervise all construction activities on-site, including scheduling and resource allocation.
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports using Procore and BuilderTrend.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards in construction and craftsmanship.
- Manage project financials, including budgets, forecasts, and change orders to ensure profitability.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and project management.
- Experience in high-end residential, healthcare, and commercial construction projects.
- Familiarity with seismic and concrete construction techniques.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore and BuilderTrend.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
