Team Lead - Land Development (Civil Engineering)

Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Team Lead in Land Development to oversee and guide our civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will lead a team of engineers and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and compliance with regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of civil engineers in land development projects.
Oversee project planning, design, and execution while ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to facilitate project approval and implementation.
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project viability.
Review and approve engineering designs, plans, and specifications for compliance with standards.
Mentor and train junior engineers and team members to foster professional growth and development.
Utilize AutoCAD and other engineering software to create and modify project designs and plans.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is preferred; Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification is acceptable.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and relevant regulations.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
