Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Paralegal to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Paralegal will be to support our Workers' Compensation Defense team to provide high-quality legal services. The successful candidate will work closely with attorneys, clients, and legal staff to assist in the preparation, management, and organization of legal documents and cases.

Key Responsibilities

Assist attorneys in preparing and filing legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Manage case files and maintain case calendars to ensure timely deadlines are met.
Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support attorneys in case preparation.
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to obtain necessary information and documentation.
Prepare and organize medical records, summaries, and reports as necessary.
Draft and analyze legal documents.
Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, preparing witness files, and coordinating logistics.
Perform administrative tasks, such as organizing files, answering phone calls, and scheduling appointments.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Paralegal in Workers' Compensation Defense is required.
Strong knowledge of legal principles and practices, including legal research and writing.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software applications.
Case Management and preparing Medical Summaries.
Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field is preferred.
